Rotary Club of Mumbai Inspire – Better Together

About Us

Our Belief

At Rotary club of Mumbai Inspire we firmly believe in harnessing the collective networks of our members and the immense access that Rotary International provides to us in India and across the world.

We want to use these global and local resources to make an impact in our communities.

Each one of us has the potential to contribute positively and motivate others to take up causes that are close to their hearts to spread hope, cheer and light in the life of others.

Our Goal

We aim to not only align with the overall themes that drives the goals of our district, but also create projects that will help alleviate the lives of people living on our local areas.
While doing this we will work closely with local institutions to maximise the reach and impact of our work.

Inspiration is when you feel a deep-rooted passion and motivation to do something. Our work will be always driven by a passionate belief that we all have a shared responsibility.

A responsibility towards the communities we live in. Our goal is to touch and positively impact the lives of people who we can serve. We will motivate others to dedicate themselves to participate in meaningful projects and give back.

We will include people of all ages, with varied experiences and differently abled, because... We strongly believe that inherent human spirit is limitless and cannot be bound by our physical abilities.

With more than 1.20 million Rotarians in 35000 clubs in over 200 countries, you will always find a  Rotarian who will be happy to reach out wherever you are. Rotary brings  together business and professional leaders, with a common purpose to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill.

In an increasingly complex and confusing world, I have made true friends in Rotary.  Rotary is fun and entertainment.

I am a proud Rotarian from Rotary Club of Mumbai Inspire.

“Service Above Self” a term unknown to me until July, 2021. When I was invited to join RCOM Inspire, I was introduced to an organization dedicated to making a difference in the world through volunteer service. The pride that we all take when we experience the results of our volunteer endeavors and the friendships that we develop is incomparable.  I am especially proud of being involved in “The Bursary Project”, through which Rotary Club of Mumbai Inspire has taken the initiative of sponsoring the deserving children who deserve the right to education.  The approximately 50+ members of Rotary Club of Mumbai Inspire come from a diverse range of personal and professional backgrounds. While we have been drawn to RCOM Inspire for a variety of personal reasons, we are collectively empowered by a culture that nurtures our passion for humanitarian service.  I take my membership in Rotary very seriously, and likewise it is equally important for me to be aligned with a club that resonates with my personal goals.  I was seeking an environment that would allow me to grow, to contribute, to partake of fellowship, and to challenge me. Rotary is all about putting political and religious differences aside to improve education and health through humanitarian aid.
Rtn. Feroze Balsara, Cluster Head, Branch Banking
Rotary international is more than 100 years old and still going strong spread over more than 200 countries with around 1.2 million members. I take great pride in being recognized as a Rotarian and becoming part of the international community. I have continued to be its part for more than 25 years and there is something unique about it which has kept me glued with it for all these years and still going strong. It is the most transparent organization with 95% delivery of the total amount collected which is by far highest compared with any other charitable organization. It offers great fellowship and friends world over. Rotary has taken many international challenges to eradicate miseries from the face of the earth, the most glaring being pulse polio eradication.  It's principles of service over self and the four way test is the highest example of human service. The community service projects offer the highest satisfaction and pleasure of the soul. I wish rotary a never ending presence in the world for the sake of service to humanity

Very few of us know that the name Rotary was chosen by the founding fathers simply because initially the members rotated the weekly club meetings to each other's offices. However we must know that as Rotarians we are today members of the oldest, most prestigious service clubs in the world and donors across the world trust Rotary with their funds. As Rotarians we strive to uphold this donor trust by maintaining high ethical standards while being involved in the affairs and service projects of one's club. I am happy that our club members are maintaining this tradition by continuously executing prestigious projects in the most transparent manner. I feel privileged to be a part of The Rotary Club of Mumbai Inspire and wish to congratulate the dynamic founding members for bringing together a most impressive group of professionals who I look forward to meeting very soon.
Rtn. Rajiv Gupta, Sporting Goods' Manufacturing Business
I'm compassionate, creative, and a sucker for o-r-i-g-i-n-a-l-i-t-y. I treat life like a game, and so just about anything on its path is rewarding enough for me. I joined Rotary Inspire by chance after a chit-chat with Rtn Shanta. I guess I did not get swayed by the whole "giving back" philosophy but saw it as an opportunity to find joy and the resolve to do whatever was needed to be done in this world. This way, I wouldn't get entangled by the doing or the doership.
